ABOUT TOMI SAX
Ayoola oluwatomi popularly known as Tomi Sax is one of the fast rising Nigeria jazz artiste. The young and vibrant sax maestro who also dubbed as a singer is not a new name to so many people as the music industry in Nigeria is concerned.
The undergraduate of Federal University of Technology who hails from Ife has carved a niche for himself with his Jazz work.
He has shares stage with different artiste both at the internationally and nationally level. He has performed alongside His Jazz Highness "Kenny G" and also shared stage with kirk whalum, Angel Opomulero, Lara George, Psalm Ebube, Dabo Williams, just to mention few. He also has singles and song covers to his credit ' PEACE SONG by Tomi Sax, YOU RAISE ME UP and many others. He recently featured on his management label teammate song "Dabo Williams Mega Praise Song PAPA OH" and has also done some other features with different artiste too.
His style of play has made him stand out among fellow colleagues. He sustains more than many others could with ease, plays two sax at a time. Hmmm! No wonder they call him Wonder Sax.
Tomi Sax also was the main guest artiste at the TEDxAkure, a gathering hosted by the elites. He has also played in weddings and occasions, leaving his audience asking for more.
Talk about soul smooth and spirit lifting Jazz, then talk about talk, talk about leading people to dance, you have to talk about Tomi Sax. Cut it short, when it comes to good music, sound, improvising and creativity, the young wizard saxophonist can never be counted out.
He is a great gift to watchout for this year.
You want good music, then you need to hear him do his thing.
