"OUR CHILDREN UNDER ATTACKS....Part 2”

GENESIS 18:17-19
The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
seeing that Abraham shall become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves by him?
No, for I have chosen him, that he may charge his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice; so that the LORD may bring to Abraham what he has promised him."
Those demonically organized subtle idolatries are not packaged against the youths and adults alone. The devil has subtle ways he wars against our children too. When the Lord made a covenant to Abraham, the fulfillment of the covenant manifested through his children. The fulfillment of many of the Lord’s covenants upon our lives depend majorly and mostly on the relationships of our children with God.
The Lord promised to make Abraham Father of many nations; but, if Isaac had lost relationship with God, the covenant would have been broken. So the Lord continued the covenant upon Isaac by saying: “I am God of Abraham and Isaac”. So the covenant of God for Abraham was established by the relationship of Isaac, and his son Jacob who had twelve sons that produced the house of Israel.
So we have a huge responsibility in making sure our children are in good relationship with God.
May I share with you an astonishing revelation concerning the media revolution of this time? Do you know that 95% of the children TV programs and movies today are not actually made to positively educate the kids. Are you aware that the arch Enemy children’s souls have actually crafted out a lot of children TV programs and movies to indoctrinate, enslave and lure them into demonic activities which will eventually bind their mind and lure their souls into hell?
Today, it will take a lot of spiritual discernment and investigations to know which children cartoons or kiddies’ movies are thoroughly clean for your children to watch. A lot of children cartoons and movies today teach our children voodooism, witchcraft, spiritism, levitation, necromancy and sorcery, etc. You watch children cartoon with subtle lessons on witchcraft and sorcery. You see children attracted to children movies which display a character in the movie with extra-ordinary ability to predict future events or foretell situations and circumstances; you see children getting very interested in movies showing a character with super ability to transform himself to anything or disappears at any moment of danger.
How often do you see in children movies or cartoon characters in the movies floating in the air in defiance of the law of gravity? That is levitation. How often have you seen in children movies, some children characters in the stories going to ask for directions or helps from a spirit character who appears and disappears at will? That is spiritism or necromancy. The deceptiveness of all these movies stands on the fact that they all seem very interesting and harmless, but underneath are lessons that have no positive usefulness to these children.
I have seen, on some occasions, in a popular children cartoon: “The Simpsons” where Mr. Simpson and his wife were on bed or out of bed kissing, then, I would ask: what do the producers want the children to learn from this? Curiosity. Unholy curiosity. Many seemingly harmless children cartoons dump devious immorality into the curious simple minds of these children. While we fathers are buried in the loads of our official works and the mothers are busy making their food in the kitchen, we keep our children busy with many of these spiritually injurious children cartoons and movies.
It took me sometime before I could discern some serious threats to children’s spiritual development in “Tom and Jerry”. One of the most interesting and creative children cartoons is “Tom and Jerry”. I like to watch it with my children when they were growing up. We would watch and laugh for a long time. On some occasions, I had gone out shopping for new series from the roadside hawkers. I like the concepts of “Tom and Jerry”. The creativities, the twists of actions, the mad chasings, the hypocrisies and craftiness of the cartoon characters are all very enticing to viewers.
However, later, I began to see beyond the playful fighting and the crazy chasing and running of the two animals. I began to see the concealed lessons and subliminal principles therein. It is very simple to discern. It is the fundamental basic structure of the entire concept of “Tom and Jerry”; and that has made the cartoon to be popular for decades. That has been the reasons why children, youths and many adults love to watch them: It is Offence and Revenge.
One must offend the other and the other must take revenge; and the other must take his own pound of flesh on his partner and his partner must go all out for “an eye for an eye” and “a tooth for a tooth”; and they go on and on like that. When one take vengeance on the other craftily and the injured one screams in pain, that is when the children would laugh and would be waiting eagerly for the other to fight back and take his pound of flesh. The children would watch with delight as Tom sets traps for Jerry and lures him into the trap; the children would watch joyfully as Jerry craftily ensnares Tom and makes him weep. There are no lessons of forgiveness and tolerance in “Tom and Jerry”. It is all about offence and revenge. That is the basic principle of the popular cartoon.
No wonder a lot of children are quarrelsome at home. No wonder a lot of these children are very noisy and confrontational. When you have two young boys at home, and they are seriously possessed with this spirit of offence and revenge, then, you will be saddled with the burden of settling rifts at all times. That spirit will rule out forgiveness and reconciliation. That spirit is opposed to endurance and tolerance. You see one of the children seeking ways of taking revenge on his or her siblings. It is a terrible spirit.
How can we build up holy, obedient, responsible and respectful children under these unhallowed conditions? How can children and youths grow in a Godly way watching these types of unconsecrated children cartoons flavored with subtle immoral, violent, destructive and seductive actions.
When my children were very young, my daughter and my second son love to watch one of these children animation movies, “Samura-Jack”. Even, I myself always look forward to the movie towards evening, whenever they came back from school. My children always follow the series. It was an interesting and action-packed children cartoon. Then, what was the story of “Samura-Jack” all about? Violence, vengeance and display of supernatural courage. But he must secure his victory by his sword with his mastery of Chinese Kung-Fu. He must think back at the numerous evils that the wicked character “Mojo-Jojo” had done him, and he must take vengeance at all cost.
When we went to Perth, in Western Australia and during one of the drama lectures, I taught this lesson on the harmful effects of some children cartoons to our children, one of the pastors confirmed that the addictive watching of a children cartoon “TellyTubbies” nearly impaired the speech of his little child. He suddenly discovered that his little child no longer talked fluently, but preferred nodding, shaking his head or grunting, just like those characters in “TellyTubbies” Until someone whose child had once been affected told him to stop his child from watching that particular cartoon.
Am I against our children watching interesting children movies and cartoons? No, up till now I still love: Walt Disney’s “Bambi” and “Aristocats” and some few others I had sat with my children and watched when they were growing up. But, the import of this post is: we should not be praying and fasting for Open Doors and neglect to watch out also for the subtle ways the devil invade the hearts of our children too.
May the Lord give us wisdom.
