40 DAYS PRAYER AND FASTING - DAY 1OUR YEAR OF GREAT THINGSdaddy mike

Actually this message ought to have come up on first of this month which was first day of drama ministers 40 days fasting but due to some technical problem on our side it could not. Therefore we are posting two series of day1 and day2. the day3 which is today will come latter.

"WAITING FOR HIS COMMAND"
Matthew 14:25-29 NKJV
[25] Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. [26] And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear.
[27] But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."
[28] And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
[29] So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
Welcome to THE YEAR OF GREAT THINGS!!! The year the Lord has blessed and anointed for many of His obedient and faitful servants to accomplish Great Things. The Lord God Almighty had called this beautiful year: "A Year of Great Things".
I was at the Cross-Over Service at Redemption Camp, and the servant of God, Daddy E.A.Adeboye said, the Lord had called this year: Year of Testimonies. Year of Harvest for his children who were faithful and obedient to His instructions in 2014. Wonderful. It all mean the same thing. This year shall be full of Great things for His children who would enter into covenant with Him. To us in Drama Ministry, we are looking forward to seeing all the Great Things the Lord had reserved for us this year.
However, the Lord made us see some secrets in the passage above. It is was a great thing for Jesus Christ to walk upon the sea. But it was definitely a greater thing for Peter to walk on the sea. Jesus made Peter to do an incredible thing. A very Great Thing. But there was something that made it possible for him to do that awesome thing, even though he desired to do mighty exploit; he wanted to do what no man had ever done; he wanted to achieve a great feat and put to use his faith in the Master, yet, he said something very important that should guide us into doing mighty exploits in this Year of Great Things:
Matthew 14:28-29 [28]
And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
[29] So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
He waited for the Lord's instructions before stepping out of the boat. He told the Lord to command him to come and the not until the Lord ordered him to step on the sea, he did not do it. Because, it was the Lord who told him to come upon the sea, HE WALKED UPON THE SEA, and became the first and the only man in the Bible, apart from the Lord Jesus, who did that GREAT THING...Walking on the water!
Now, when problem arose against him and he began to sink in the sea, Jesus who commanded him to come was standing by him to rescue him.
THAT IS ONE OF THE SECRET OF ACHIEVING GREAT THINGS in 2015: Whatever your dream may be; however great your aspirations in ministry, academics, or personal life may be, whatever you desire to accomplish in your ministry in 2015, WAIT FOR THE LORD'S COMMAND BEFORE YOU GO FOR IT...so that, if the devil brings up a storm against the dreams, visions, calling and aspiration, you can always call upon the Lord who commanded you to do it, in the first place.
Instruction No 1 to achieving Great Things and entering into your Harvest in 2015 therefore, is, LEARN TO WAIT FOR HIS COMMAND.
As you wait on Him to instruct you, in 2015, you shall achieve Great Feat. As you wait on Him to instruct you, in 2015, you shall accomplish Great Exploits.
With His instructions, you will mount up with wings as Eagles. Obeying His Instructions will make you walk upon the waters and break down the Walls of Jericho on your way to your Canaan land.

Welcome to The Year of Great Things.
Happy New Year!!!
